Jaesun Han (Jason)
As a serial entrepreuneur, Jason founded/cofounded several companies like 1) Ground X, Kakao blockchain subsidiary which has developed Klaytn and Klip wallet, 2) FuturePlay, an accelerator and VC specialied for deep tech startups, 3) NexR, a big data and cloud computing tech startup in Korea which was acquired by KT. Backed in 2005, Jason received Ph.D in EECS at KAIST. The research topics were distributed systems, Grid Computing, and P2P. Jason also taught an innovative business model and IT trends in KAIST Information and Media MBA as an adjunct professor for 7 years since 2007. Currently, Jason is actively exploring new oppertunities in Web3 and deep tech including building, consulting, and investment.
Min Suk Kang
Min Suk has been an Assistant Professor of School of Computing at KAIST since August 2020, leading world-class research on blockchain network security, Internet security, and wireless network security. Prior to joining KAIST, Min Suk had been an Assistant Professor of Computer Science Department at National University of Singapore since 2016. He obtained his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from CyLab, Carnegie Mellon University in 2016. He received BS and MS degrees in EECS at KAIST in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
Sukyoung Ryu
Sukyoung Ryu is a Professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the Head of the School of Computing, KAIST. Her research area includes programming languages, software engineering, and information security. She received research awards from Google and Distinguished Paper Awards from ACM SIGSOFT. She is currently an associate editor of IEEE TSE, a member of ACM SIGPLAN EC and ACM SIGPLAN CARES. She holds BS, MS, and PhD, all in Computer Science, from KAIST. Before KAIST, she worked at Sun Microsystems and Harvard University.

Deok is Blockchain DEV in ATIV studio. He mainly contribute to building Smart Contract utilized in ATIV services and Research new possiblities in Crypto and Blockchain. Prior to web3, he worked as a software engineer in SAAS platform for construction management.

Ian co-founded SOONI with Min Jun and returned to KAIST to finish his studies in Computer Science.
MinJun KimBusiness/Product Development @ PiLab (BIFROST)Staff Leader
As an aspiring student devoted to blockchain and entrepreneurship, MinJun has persisted in learning and evolving as an entrepreneur. MinJun used to be an undergraduate student at KAIST double majoring in BTM (Business & Technology Management) and Computer Science. After finishing his second year, MinJun has taken years off to explore start-up and Web3. MinJun co-founded a NFT-focused company–SOONI Labs–under the mission of bridging the gap between NFTs and real world utility via practical DApp extensions. He carried out SOONI (mobile metaverse designated for public transport), WeBe (NFT community) and BetterWorld (social DApp designated for NFTs) since 2021. Consequently, MinJun co-estblished Orakle–the foremost blockchain research society at KAIST. He is currently working at Pi-Lab (BIFROSRT) as an industrial technical personnel while pursuing the mission of Orakle as a president.

Soowon JeongResearcher (Privacy & Scaling Exploration team) @ Ethereum Foundation
Soowon is researcher at Ethereum Foundation, Privacy & Scaling Exploration team. He helps the exploration of practical applications for zero-knowledge proofs and scaling solutions by building proofs of concept about cryptographic primitives. Prior to working at Ethereum Foundation, he was a programming language developer at Bifrost designing domain specific language for the smart contract.
